Consulting, Autism and Positive Support (CAAPS) is an innovative, nationally recognised disability organisation built on a simple but powerful philosophy: “Supporting disability in the world and shaping the world to support disability.” With almost 30 years of experience across disability, autism, Positive Behaviour Support, complex support and forensic disability, CAAPS works wherever people, families, services and communities need greater understanding, capability and meaningful change. Our work extends beyond traditional service delivery—we develop practical and creative solutions, strengthen families and support teams, build safer and more inclusive environments, improve professional practice and advocate for the rights of people whose needs are too often misunderstood. From individualised behaviour support and specialist assessments to workforce development, community education, justice-sector collaboration and systems improvement, CAAPS brings compassion, courage and expertise to some of the most complex situations.
